UH OH!!...and so much more

UH OH! has become the new favorite phrase around our house these days and I felt it was a VERY appropriate one to choose as the title of this post considering it has been 4+ months since I've updated! I don't really even know where to begin!!!

As far a Tripp goes...oh my goodness! The light he shines in our lives just gets brighter everyday. Here are a few things he is doing lately:

* He will be ELEVEN months old on Wednesday!!!
* Standing and taking steps without assistance and gaining more balance by the day
* Eating solid food and loving getting to feed himself
* Very independent and lets you know quickly when he wanted to do something with OUT your help
* Has four teeth and 3 more are poking through those sore gums :(
* Says: mama, dada, hi, bye, and UH OH!...I think he is working on NO...Lord help us
* Turns the lights on and off when you walk by a switch
* Closes and open doors while giggling...which means when its closed good he is up to something!
* Points to EVERYTHING and babbles
* Has figured out how to put the shapes in the toy that has all the different shape cut outs...if you were born the the last century you should know what that is!
* Brings me books every once in a while and pulls on my leg and taps me with them until I stop and read to him
* Enjoys sharing all his food with us and tries to brush our teeth after we brush his each morning and night...kind of gross but so cute
* Loves riding on his sit and scoot train and four wheeler...the faster you go the more he giggles which scares me!
* Is very sociable and loves playing with other kids!
* Will be getting a hair cut in the very near future...the mullet is just not becoming :)

Levi and I have been wonderful and very busy lately!! We have so many blessings in our lives and are grateful for the paths the Lord continues to lead us down! Harvest is in full swing and that wears Levi out and leaves Tripp and I a lot of alone time so keep all those who work in the farming industry in your prayers. 7/7/10 - 7 months old -This happened a lot this summer...play, play, play aaand crash!

He really enjoyed the pool when we visited Aunt Alicia and Uncle Brett this summer

7/21/10 - We went to a family reunion in July and this is what Pa did most of the time! I think he's kind of proud.

7/22/10 - Aunt Di came to the reunion too!

7/26/10 - "Let me have that...I know what I'm doin!" - Tripp helped Maretta shuck the corn from the garden this summer.

8/5/10 - 8 months old - "WHAT is this?"

"I think I kind of like it!"


Still sucking his thumb even when it's covered in mud...

8/5/10 - We filled up his pool after playing in the mud...He loved it!

Nothing more adorable than a naked baby!

8/15/10 - We went to the Skyvue Drive-in (yes in our pajamas) with the Oaks and he had his own chair!

8/28/10 - "Oh yes I AM about to pull everything out of this drawer....

.........and..........

....if I close this door maybe you won't see me do it!!! " hahaha

Since I opened the door he tried to distract me by bringing me a book! Please pray for us in 2 more years.......... :)

9/12/10 - 9 months old - We went to the apple orchard in Idalou with Meme, Papa, Auntie Rach, and Ryan....can you say CHEEEEESE!

The apple orchard had a petting zoo and I really wanted to put this piglet in the diaper bag and take it home!!


He loved picking this apple like a big boy!!

And knew exactly what to do with it!

9/16/10 - His big boy pjs!

9/20/10 - He LOVES the sit and scoot four wheeler Grandma and Grandaddy got him!

He cracks himself up sometimes!

9/27/10 - The South Plains Fair - of course we stopped at the petting zoo...can you tell what he thought about the goats....





9/27/10 - The big boy carseat Meme and Papa got him for (early) Christmas

10/4/10 - 10 months old - This is how we spend most of our Sunday mornings at church...it's just too much to sit still and let Brother Rush preach without our very important babbling commentary!

10/29/10 - He has figured out how to use the rails and steps on the back to get in and out withOUT our help and loves "driving" to "fires"!

10/31/10 - Halloween 2010 - He was a SKUNK...very fitting since he can be quite the stinker!

HILARIOUS!
