It's a....

BOY!!! Well I know it has taken me foooorever to post this time and most of you already know we are having a sweet baby BOY! While both of us just pray for a healthy, happy baby we are sooo excited to be having a son. We had a sonogram at the beginning of August and some pictures are posted below. The technician just kept cracking up because she said she had never seen a baby who wanted to "show off" so much! The whole time he had his legs spread and was making sure we knew he was NOT a girl. We were all laughing and Levi just stood with a HUGE "that's my boy" grin on his face! :) I went to the doctor again last week and the baby is growing and very healthy. He is active and Levi and I have been watching my belly move alot lately! It is so neat and we feel absolutely blessed to be going through all these wonderful little experinces. "Mommy"...hehe....is doing well too and I have finally gained 3 more pounds and am now a little over my starting weight! Yay for DQ Blizzards! :) We have also gotten his furniture and a few other things set up in his room. It is really looking like a nursery and I will hopefully decide on some bedding, paint, and start decorating this month.

On top of all the baby excitement, Levi and I have been VERY busy with other things! Levi is getting ready to start harvest again and I have been giving him lots of "honey-do's" before he is stuck in the field 24/7. :) He has also been busy trying to get a plan worked out for building a new fire station here in Welch. They will be hosting another "Turkey Shoot" to raise money on September 26th. If you know any one who likes to do that let them know! I started back to school and have forgotten how much energy 5-6 year olds have! I am loving being back with the kids but that first week was DRAINING!!! My class grew this year and I have 12 precious kindergarteners! I know that does not sound like a lot compared to most schools but for ours it defintely is.

One last bit of baby news...we will have our 3D sonogram on September 24th and below I have posted a new pic of my growing belly at 26-27 weeks! :) I think that is enough for now and I will really try to do better about updating this thing! Thank you all for any thoughts and prayers that have been coming our way...we are truly thankful and glory goes to God for the blessings in our life!
